Scholarship information on the Legion website.

The American Legion offers a number of scholarships and other resources to assist young people in their pursuit of higher education. Each year, the Legion facilitates the awarding of millions of dollars in scholarships to high school students. There are opportunities for everyone, including kin of wartime veterans and participants in Legion programs.

NOTE: Post 24 has it's own list of Scholarships and other Programs and we encourage our Legionnaires to place a high priority for the further education of our children.

Here is a recap of our American Legion Post 24 Scholarship recipients for 2026

1. Virgin Valley High School
   1. Our scholarship went to Davie Slack who wants a career and getting hands on experience in a trade Welding School.

2. Beaver Dam High School
   1. 1 Scholarship went to #1 out of 21 class rank, Alexis Lozano who wants a career as an Ultrasound Tech.
   2. The other scholarship went to Corben Allen who was #2 out of 21 class rank and wants to be a sports communications person via Southern Utah University.

3. Christian Academy
   1. We gave a scholarship to Alex Luevanos who was our Boys State Representative in 2025 from Virgin Valley High School and is taking college courses via Christian Academy.

Additional scholarships

1. 1 scholarship to Roger Holcomb from Beaver Dam High School via the Veterans Honor Guard

2.  1 scholarship to Gavin Cramer who is also doing college credits while still in high school at both Christian Academy and Virgin Valley High School.
